Despite the 1 score last night it looks like we have overall parity+ in the summer league – after 6 games 2 teams are at .500 and the other 2 are +\/- 1\/2 game on either side – doesn’t get much closer than that!<\/p>\n

The less said about the early game the better… Team Dirka scored early and consistently leading by 2 at the end of the first, and by 5 at the end of the 2nd, coasting to an easy 9-1 victory by the end of the game. Team Dirka 9 – Team Jacquie 1. Team Jacquie loses their first game of the year and Team Dirka vaults back in to 1st place.<\/p>\n
In the late game Team Lia fought to a lead early, in front 4-3 at the end of 1, but then couldn’t hold back the Team Sharley onslaught. Team Sharley was ahead 9-7 at the end of 2, and then held on in the 3rd for a 2 goal victory. Team Sharley 10 – Team Lia 8. Team Sharley moves to 500 dropping Team Lia into the basement.<\/p>\n
