Sadness….

The Saturday morning game promised a bit more competition – Werewolves were able to stay in the entire game losing 3-6 to 6Nations#2 (RezDogs) – pretty good game but the result could have been better. In the afternoon Windsor was the opponent and London opened a thin lead early and was able to maintain it through the entire game despite having difficulty with Windsor’s massive goaltenders. Final score Werewolves 6 – Windsor 3 and London’s first win of 2018 goes in to the record books!

Sunday morning with a squad depleted by nagging injuries and minor coaching commitments, London pushed to an early 5-3 lead over Barrie but was unable to hold on. Barrie caught up and pulled ahead by 2 going in to the last minutes of play. Werewolves were able to claw within a goal but the last minute push for a tieing goal was unsuccessful – final score – Barrie 7 – Werewolves 6.
