{"id":2414,"date":"2022-04-11T12:01:32","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T16:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.londonmasterslacrosse.com\/wordpress\/?p=2414"},"modified":"2022-04-15T23:32:21","modified_gmt":"2022-04-16T03:32:21","slug":"house-league-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.londonmasterslacrosse.com\/wordpress\/archives\/2414","title":{"rendered":"HOUSE LEAGUE UPDATE"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b>LONDON MASTERS HOUSE LEAGUE LACROSSE 2022<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Thank you for registering for Masters Lacrosse,\u00a0<\/b>based on lower than usual registration numbers likely related to returning from the pandemic, we are writing to provide an update about IMPORTANT changes for this House League season.<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>39 players have registered in total, which will require a THREE (3) team format.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>The THREE (3) team format cannot go on for 18 weeks, so we\u00a0will be cutting the\u00a0season down.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>The season will still START on the same day Wednesday, April 20th (Day 1) at Nichols Arena.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>The game times will be 8:00-9:00pm and\/or 9:00-10:00pm every week.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>After two weeks of pick up lacrosse to start, we will have 9 weeks of regular season. Once every 3 weeks, each team will have to play a double header (ie. Two games, back to back.). This will happen 3 times for each team.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>There will be no playoffs, best record takes bragging rights.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>The season will now END on Wednesday, June 29th. Just in time for summer holidays.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>The cost per player has been reduced to $175.00 \/ player total for the season,\u00a0no tax.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Important:<\/b><\/div>\n<div>To complete registration, please arrange payment of\u00a0<b>$175.00<\/b>\u00a0by\u00a0<b>e-transfer\u00a0<\/b>to:\u00a0<b>LONDON MASTERS LACROSSE ASSOCIATION,<\/b>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:payment@londonmasterslacrosse.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>payment@<wbr \/>londonmasterslacrosse.com<\/b><\/a><\/div>\n<div>In the notes section of the transfer, enter;\u00a0<b>MASTERS HL and &#8216;Name of Player&#8217;.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>It will auto-deposit, no password required. A receipt confirmation will be sent back by e-mail once deposited.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div><b>Payment DUE DATE: this Friday, April 15th.<\/b><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><b>No cash, thank you.<\/b><\/div>\n<div>* Players will NOT be allowed on the floor without payment being received, no exceptions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><b>Notes:\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>We will accommodate friend requests to start the season but changes may be made to ensure fun back and forth lacrosse for all.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Since we have many new players, we are going to order some new shirts. We are hoping they will be ready soon. Just in case, please put both a &#8216;dark shirt&#8217; and &#8216;light shirt&#8217; in your equipment bag for week 1 and week 2. We will hand out the shirts once available, current target is May 4th.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">You will need a helmet with metal from cage and chin cup strap, gloves, and lacrosse stick. Running shoes with good rubber on the bottom are suggested.
