This is Week #16 – the final games of the Summer2017 regular season and tonight’s scheduled games are a preview of next week’s first playoff round. 1st and 4th places are set and the winner of the Team Blair – Team Lia matchup will get to decide on their starting goalie for the next week’s playoff round. At least there is no way for there to be any ties in the standings – MATH (being HARD!) will not be required to figure things out.

Werewolves are on the road this weekend for a tournament in Niagara this weekend. It might be a touch optimistic to expect an improvement on our 3-1 record in Fergus but hope springs eternal.

Friday         8:00pm  vs. Brampton
Saturday   11:00am  vs. Beaches
Saturday     2:00pm  vs. Peterborough
Sunday     11:00am  vs. Windsor

Hmmmmm  – early finish on Saturday – should be able to fit in some team strategy sessions over wine or craft beer somewhere! Casino, Clifton Hill….. the possibilities and endless. There could even be a replay of the infamous Clifton Hill Bumper Car incident of 2015 though famous London media celebrity MarkC is unavailable for a repeat performance this weekend. Reasonable numbers and a pretty strong lineup should make for a fun tournament and a good tuneup/preview for the upcoming Sept 8-10 Provincials in Oakville.
