Hello London Masters Laxers,

After an awesome summer indoor box season, we’re excited to try something new and keep the stick work going – this time under the lights and out in the fresh air!

We’ve secured turf at City Wide Fields (Commissioners & Highbury) for three weeks starting Monday, September 22nd. Field time is from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, with the field open from 6:00pm for warmups and shooting. We’ll be using the field-sized 6×6 nets and adapting the play style based on turnout. Going to try a blend of Masters, Sixes, and field lacrosse, with two goalies already committed. Whatever the mix, it’s all about getting out, moving, and keeping the sticks in hand going post-season!

Thanks to the positive response thus far, this is officially a go and I have contract with the city. If this outdoor run is popular, we’re also exploring indoor turf options for the coming winter to keep lacrosse going year-round.

Last week’s game was another beauty, with the offense clicking and plenty of players getting on the board. Steven set the tone early with a quick pair of goals to open the scoring, and Ashmore with a slick low‑to‑high corner shot that had everyone nodding in approval.

That hot start gave us a 3‑0 edge out of the gate, before things tightened up to 9‑7 by the half. The pace stayed high and the scoring spread around both benches, with the game closing out in a great 14‑11 final. Lots of goals, lots of running, and a great night of lacrosse all around.

And now here we are—last week of the season is tonight. Let’s finish strong, have some fun on the floor, and then cap it off together after the game.

Last week’s game was an offensive showcase, with shooters finding their range early and often. By the end of the first period, the scoreboard was already lit up at 9-6, and the pace never let up.

Both benches kept trading chances all night, and we saw plenty of players hitting the scoresheet in a wide-open contest. When the dust settled, it was a 14-12 finish – a high-scoring game that had a little bit of everything and kept the fans and benches buzzing right to the end.

Only a couple of weeks left so make sure you come out, grab a pinnie, and be part of the action as we head toward the season wrap-up and our end-of-season event in September!
