Another hot night of lacrosse for the last games at Nichols for Summer 2019….

Pretty good turnout for Team Lia and Team Jacquie in the early game. Lots of shots, but no scoring until the last minute of the 1st period with Team Lia exiting the frame, leading 1-0. In the 2nd, Team Lia dominated play, scoring 7 to Team Jacquie’s 2, and the game was over for all intents and purposes. In the 3rd, both teams scored twice but Team Lia’s cruise to victory was never in doubt. With the win, Team Lia assures another 1st place finish in the HL Summer2019 regular season repeating on their Summer2018 success.

In the late game both Teams were painfully short of runners…again…sigh.  Team Dirka opened an early lead, 3-1 at the end of the 1st period but Team Sharley fought back and the teams were tied at 6 heading into the final frame. With a little more success around the net, Team Sharley outscored their opponents 3-1 in the final period resulting in a final score – Team Sharley 9 – Team Dirka 7.

On to the final week of the regular season with none of the playoff positions at stake – Team Lia will finish 1st, Team Dirka will finish last. Time to warm up for the real show!

Team Sharley  vs.  Team Lia     8:00pm  –  9:00pm

Team Jacquie  vs.  Team Dirka     9:00pm  –  10:00pm.
