Another hot night and 2 pretty good games to end the regular season for 2019…

In the early game Team Sharley was hurting for players to start the game while Team Lia was out in full force, ready to warm up for their run in the 2019 playoffs. Team Sharley was able to score first and then keep it close for the first half of the game but Team Lia’s firepower and additional legs eventually won out – Final score Team Lia 9 – Team Sharley 5.

In the late game, both teams pressed hard on both offence and defense – Team Jacquie scored early and were able to stay ahead for most of the game despite CiennaW’s highlight reel goal in the 3rd period. Team Dirka pushed hard but were unable to close the gap – Final score Team Jacquie 6 – Team Dirka 4.

Once the results are tallied Team Lia wins the regular season championship and Team Sharley beats out Team Jacquie for 2nd place based on head-to-head results.

For the playoffs teams need to have 5 registered runners at the start of the game or be in default. Since all of the goalies are pretty close we don’t need to do the half time switch this year. For next week Team Sharley and Team Lia get to pick which of the available goalies they want for their game prior to the openign faceoff.

In any case, next is the LMHLL Opening round of the 2019 Playoffs Wednesday August 21, 2019 KINSMEN Arena

Team Sharley  vs.  Team Jacquie     8:00pm  –  9:00pm.

Team Lia  vs.  Team Dirka     9:00pm  –  10:00pm.
